we all think we're crazy the first couple of times. it's certainly scary if you know what it's like. there must be a link between this and the renowned lucid dream -- i'm not sure which i've experienced more often, but i'd love to turn one into the other were it possible.

Kelsey, i haven't had or thought about these experiences in a long time. in fact, like you said, really for all these years i didn't even know how to think about them -- no understanding or awareness of this phenomenon.
i remember kicking myself off of a couch once in deperation -- like trying to hatch.
